Hesh, that is sweet! You know that I love redwood tops like that.
So as I understand it, you didn't build this one? What is the story behind that? I know that you have posted wonderful work of your own as well.

Mark, I think he built it, his girlfriend did the inlay, and he contracted the finish out.

Hesh, that's fine- no need for any defense! I was simply confused about who built it, because in your very first post you said :
"This guitar was built to the OLF SJ plans by our own Michael Payne."
But I imagine now you meant the PLANS were done by Michael. It sure looks cool, and I hope I get to see and play it. After I clear my bench of a bunch of repairs and things I'm going to start a redwood-topped guitar that I plan to bring out to the GAL meet in June.

Very dapper Hesh and Lacey, simply stunning, that top looks just about as pretty as my wifes hair did on the day we first met.

(Yep, you guessed it, I'm look'in at a new bandsaw )

Cheers all

Kim

Hesh, a compliment of the highest order it truly was meant to be. But I must say, as lovely as the flow of her auburn locks may be, she just ain't pick'in up the knack of the jewellers saw as well as I would have liked and her form with the dremmel is whoa-full.

Yup, and don't forget that a panda eats, shoots, and leaves.

Whoa!...That's a great looking top Hesh. What's a guitar topped w/ redwood going to sound like? With the SJ size, no doubt a nice fingerstyle guitar?
